Ferrite ring of block any one ? (1 Viewer)

So tried a ferrite ring on the output from my solar controller to the audio amp to try and cure a hum it is causing..

Partial cure so thought I would double up..
I have ( had ! ) two box's full of ferrite clamp blocks.. All now completely disappeared off the face of the earth !!!!

Soooo.. Any one got a couple of spare rings or blocks going at all ?

I think Maplins did do them at one stage. Got any old electrical stuff - rip off the back and see if there are any ferrite rings in there............

been through piles of stuff that I have kept for spares.. not ONE has one fitted.. Plenty of good kei I am unwilling to break has them of course !!

Trying hard to think what it was we used to install which had some in the box,think it was ups,s,any radio rallys in your area?

No mate.. Missed the one at Lincoln as we was at... well Lincoln actually .. but woman would not have been impressed if I had buggered off !
