At Camping Des Chevrets, St Coulomb. Nice spacious pitches direct access to beach. ACSI prices start today €15. What's not to like?

Well, its scorching hot today. At least 30 degrees. We've spent all afternoon sitting in the shade, and I've had a swim in the sea.
We took dog on beach early - dogs allowed before 10 am and after 8 pm. Beach was almost deserted, then. Not so, this afternoon!

We then went for a walk along the clifftop paths, before the day heated up too much. Different views at every turn.

We're planning to move on tomorrow. Will search the acsi book, tonight. Can thoroughly recommend our current site.

Presently on the overnight ferry to St Malo intention a lazy wander to Kathy and Daves campsite in the Loire for a few days partying and liver destruction then onto the C & CC rally at La Garangoire for the duration. Then Southwards no definite plan except returning via Bilbao late October. Just love France

Well, the Brittany weather pessimists were right. Yesterday, the weather changed completely- at least ten degrees cooler and plenty of rain. We wondered whether to head south, but decided to see it out up here - and we're really glad we did.
We're now at Camping Cruckin, a municipal site set next to the Abbaye de Beauport, and with direct access onto a non-sandy beach. It's great for dog walking, and I can only describe the setting as 'mystical'.
The weather is very pleasant - a much more bearable 23 degrees. Forecast for tomorrow is good.

Yes, it's a lovely site, isn't it? - Especially at acsi prices!
We've had another lovely day. Biked into Paimpol this morning, had a mooch, then a coffee in the sunshine, overlooking the port.
Nice walk along the beach, this aft. I've never seen so many shells. Parts of the beach are entirely made up of oyster shells, and they look spectacular in contrast to the black rocks.
Heading to another site just west of Perros Guirec, tomorrow.
For those who prefer Aires to campsites, the site we're currently on Cruckin, has a camping car area with electric and full use of toilets/showers etc. 10 euros per night, instead of the 20 euros that we're paying for a large grass pitch. We might have chosen the airs if it weren't for the dog. Our pitch has plenty of shade, and the dog likes to sit out on the grass!

Arrived at Camping Kathy & Dave at La Fosse De Tigne early afternoon yesterday to temperature of 39.6 which crept up late afternoon to 40.3 that is seriously warm. This is a return visit to this delightful 6 van site set in an orchard and owned and run by an English couple. Wary of recommending sites but not in this case it is very special. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=4619

Crikey! Glad we've stayed put in Brittany! It's just so lovely, we've decided to stay, although the original plan had been to head for the Ile de Re.
We're at Camping du Port, Landrellec, now - another acsi site. We arrived just before 12 am, and were lucky enough to get a pitch right on the edge of the beach. Later this afternoon they were queuing to get in here.
The weather has been hot, again, and I've had another swim - right from our pitch! The dog, Nobby, has also had a paddle, but because he's only got three legs, he doesn't swim. Maybe if he did, he'd just go roundin circles?
We've been for a walk along the coastal path, and, once agin, it's beautiful, and completely different from other places we've been.
If the weather's a bit cooler tomorrow morning, we'll get the bikes out and do a bit more exploring.
