About time. I have a number of security measures in place to prevent this tracking and the number of sites that try to help facebook track me is shocking.

Facebook even creates shadow profiles for people who are not signed up or are members.

If you are signed up facebook knows a lot of the sites you visit and which pages on that site. If you see a facebook thumbs up symbol chances are facebook knows you visited that page.

And you thought government tracking was bad :p

I don't use Facebook and I agree with you and think it's a bit of a pain that they do this.
But in the big scheme of things I find that I don't care if they track me using cookies. Google probably knows more about me and that doesn't bother me too much either.
I've tried .. and I just can't bring myself to care that much.
Is it a bad thing, dya think, that I don't care?
