Hi, I am involved with a local community group and we post the minutes of our meeting on a FB page, well we did until recently. Something must have changed and we have not been able ot post them there for the last couple of meetings. Can anyone give me an idiots guide as to how to post a word doc on FB.

If its a group page there should be an upload file button. Try that.

Hi Gordon,

I can't pretend to be an expert in these matters, but I am still able to regularly post word docs onto a local "group" page so I don't believe anything has changed on facebook.

As long as the facebook page you are trying to upload them to is a Group page and not a personal page then you should be able to click on the groups title in your left hand navigation bar and right at the top it should say 'Add photo, Add Video, Add File etc'

I noticed that I don't have the 'Add File' option on my personal Facebook page but you can copy and paste the text into a note (also on the left hand navigation bar when you're on your home page)
