We have just returned from a weekend in Somerset. On the journey there and back we encountered temperature ranges of -49c to 81c. Now is this global warming or the fact that the temperature display on my ducato based Motorhome is knackered!
Anybody else had similar problems?

How did your butane cope with -49 degs, or were you on solidified propane

I understand that the OAT (outside air temperature) thermistor is in the driver's side wing mirror on RHD vehicles. Cheap to replace

Thanks. It's still under warranty so a job for the dealer.

I think you'll find it's the aerial in the wing mirror not the temperature
Edit it's in LH mirror so temp could be in the other but to change it would be a tricky job as you need to split the mirror to get inside.

I had the same problem, turns out it was because I had mirror guards fitted and the sensor didn't work correctly

Getting better month by month.
If you have mirror guards fitted they can play havoc with the temp sensor if they partially cover it.
(y) If not. Knackard probably.
