External waterproof sealant (1 Viewer)

I need to apply some external waterproof sealant to a metal fixing plate. Is there a special or specific type of sealant that workshops use for this or is a normal bathroom type acceptable?

Sikaflex 221....

There are several other numbers like 521, 512.... Someone may be along in a bit with more info.. Def not bathroom sealant..

A cheaper alternative to Sikaflex that is just as good is Stixall, available from Toolstation for about £5 a tube (and free delivery on orders over £10)
