External water pump (1 Viewer)

Hoping some one might be able to help me I have a external pump from a caravan can I change the plug and put a cigarettes type 12 volt conection on it and plug it in to the cab 12 volt socket so that I can fill up the on board water tank many thanks peter:Eeek:

If it just a standard 12v pump with a + and - cable attached you won't have a problem.

if it doesnt pump try swapping the pos and neg over.

if its going to be a regular thing it may be worth fitting a 12v socket near the filler.
a simple DIN socket and plug will do. thats what i have.
