I want to fit a external shower to my autocruse starblazer 04.

Could anyone tell me if the pump works from pressure relief or is it triggered from a micro switch when the tap is turned on.

    Thanks Rob

don't know.. but a quick look under the sink will reveal all..

wires to taps... micro switch operation..

    no wires.. pressure operated..

If it runs on briefly after the tap is closed you have a pressure system.

    Just had a thought..

Do you know if it's a submersible or a Shurflo type that is mounted outside the tank ?

Submersible pump will usually be controlled by a micro switch on each tap , although that's not always the case, as they can also be controlled with an in-line pressure switch..

Shurflo type are controlled by a pressure switch on the pump body.

The pump dose run on after the tap is closed for a few seconds.

The pump is outside the tank.

Thank you all for your help it looks like i have a pressurised system.

Makes fitting a external shower a lot easer as i will not have to run a switch to it
