Exterior LED strip lighting (1 Viewer)

Has anyone come up with any clever suggestions regarding fitting some sort of LED exterior strip lighting. I was thinking of running a strip under the awning. A friend of mine has fitted some inside his boat which give off a good light with low battery usage. I have seen some on sale in Caravan and Camper shops but the prices seem rather expensive to what I have seen on ebay.

We have it running under the awning. £5 for a 5 metre roll or 7.50 for the waterproof one from car bootsale. Connections 50p each.

We got ours from another funster but since have bought some more to replace internal tubes.

Caravan since 1970, motorhome or RV since 1999 then back to a caravan in 2017.
I got the following, yet to fit them but they just stick on and connect to a 12 volt supply such as the Awning Light.

The remote control is a nice touch.

Hi can you tell me how you connected to the external light please? Do you need to use the supplied transformer?

Like this ?? A few of us have it done, seen lots at various rallies...
Ebay China.. Think I paid £7-9 for these or something silly anyway.. Has a remote and can be on a fixed colour, flashing, fading etc..

YEP... Great for when the music is on :) or the Funster band or Just noisy neighbours..

Sticks on, peel off backing.. Simple..
Or do you mean the Electrical connection ??? If so, Went through side just under the built in awning. That comes out in a top cupboard and i fitted a switch and connected into an internal spotlight 12v feed.

I fitted my LED strip lights into aluminium chanel which clips underneath the awning box. I wired them into a separate switch and installed a remote control which allows me to dim them (I didn't go for RGB, just white). Here are a few pics:
