I'm thinking of bringing my bike over here and it costs a few bob to do so.

Seeing as I bought it new I was wondering if I could claim back the VAT when it's exported?

Just a thought but nothing ventured etc

Even if you did get the VAT back you would then have to pay it in Spain.
Nothing gained.

Yes providing it is less than 6 months old or done less that 6000km, but as pappajohn says you would have to pay Spanish VAT which is higher than UK VAT so cheapest option is wait until it is 6 months old.
