We booked a one-way hire car for picking up the moho, Astra sized. We have been upgraded for taking out optional lower excess cover - an 8 seater automatic monster . When we said we had nowhere to park it at home overnight they said it was all they had. How come it was an upgrade then, where was the car we booked? It's nearly as big as the motorhome!

And who pays for the additional fuel used?
Having worked many many years ago in car hire it was a "Godsend" on occasions to get a customer to transfer a "specialist" model to a depot that had a booking (or a closer depot) for said vehicle rather than getting zero revenue for a staff member to do it.
