Pay toad insurance, pay motorhome insurance, pay motorhome road tax,
pay tracker fee, Find and pay a breakdown cover now its 3 years old!
reckon that's about a grand in one day. Makes me wonder if we can still afford all this when we finally retire?

look on the bright side its only once a year maybe a 6 month tax disc may help spread the cost.
i find that with a new vehicle everything comes at once but you can move things around a little bit by sorning for a couple of months and 6 month tax could separate things to a more manageable amount.

fortunately for me the car mot was yesterday its tax is the end of the month and its insurance is out on a direct debit every 15th of the month
the motorhome again the insurance is out on the first of every month its first mot is due in december but its going in november or maybe october and its tax is 1st of december

so with a little thought things can be moved to suit your requirements.
the only down side is that by paying by direct debit on the insurances it costs more but that is the cost of convenience and a small regular amount rather than a big lump all at once.
