Is anyone going to be at the Exeter show?
I am going to be there tomorrow on the Southwest Motorhome stand, if you want to say hello. I am the big ugly one called Martin:thumb:

We're here!

I'll pop over and say hello tomorrow.

Got any Eura Mobils or Frankias? Fancy a change...

I've been trying all day today (phone & email) but Appletree do not answer, just a recorded request to leave a message & they will call. No reply to either of my emails sent on Sunday & today. This will be my first trip in our new second hand motor home but So far I can't talk to anyone to buy camping tickets.

How did you get yours?

Mike

They're there as we had to check something with them regarding the Van Bitz stand.

They are a small family business and will be very hands on at the showground by now, but worse case simply turn up and pay on the day

Eddie, thanks for the reply, as we want to camp I thought that I had to book in advance. Actually you are the main reason for me going to the show as I want to discuss striker & growler options.
If I pm you could you pass my phone number to them so I can confirm a place.
If it was just my wife & I then I would just turn up on Friday but my MIL will be coming along & as she is 84 years young I don't fancy dragging her along & possibly being turned away!

Yep, no problem, lol I was going to show the post to them tomorrow anyway lol but you've just "upped" my interest level greatly :winky:

If you either PM me or email eddie@vanbitz.com I'll get it sorted for you

We'll be there again this year.

Not only selling Brit Stops, but also All the Aires ... :thumb:

Steve

PS: we found our Frankia in the end! Should be easily spotted, squeezed in behind our stand.

I have spoken to Appletree and they are going to call you.

If anyone has had any difficulty getting hold of them, as I said they are a small family business, actually it's a slightly larger family business as Paul's wife had a baby Sunday night! :thumb:

So they are all a little hectic, given that the Show prep is underway

Congratulations to Paul and Sara though :birthday: Literally :roflmto:

I would suggest that it's worth going, I am lol To be honest if you had to drive hundreds of miles, probably not, but is any show?

As your in Devon, the worst that can happen is you loose a little fuel money and an entry fee

I'm a newbie
Been to the show this morning and came away feeling disappointed. I did not want a new m/h or caravan. I wanted to nose around all the stalls that sell bits and bobs, alas there were not many of them. A waste of £7 imho

I went this morning & to be honest I thought it was quite good, a lot better than expected!
Suppose there aren't that many stands selling bits & bobs, but enough to be interesting.

Exmouth beach has been closed from the lifeboat station to Orcombe Point for sand clearing - position may have changed this week.

I'm enjoying the show, time to talk to our customers without hassle.

I think that £7 is a fair entrance fee, all in all, given that it costs £8 to park a car over five hours in Taunton :roflmto:

We were thinking of going, looking for gaslow European filling adapters and an outdoor table, but if there aren't many stalls, I think we may stay at home.
