New with lots to learn
Hello, My wife (Sue) and I will take delivery of our first MH bought together on 30th Oct. You will be able to understand how excited and raring to go we are. Sue has owned an MH in the past and I have some caravan experience so although we are not complete novices I am sure we will need help at some point and we thought this the ideal place to get that.
We plan to use the MH as much as we can in the UK for the first year and have quite a few must do things on a list and will attempt as many as we can cram into our time off. We would the following year like to travel through Europe and possibly Morocco if we could find a group to travel with.
Hope to chat and/or meet some of you in the future.

Exciting times ahead

Welcome to a great way of life, did you buy the van at Lowdhams by any chance? That's where we bought our first van when we lived in Dewsbury. You'll find lots of Funsters do the trip to Morocco every year and you could join them. When we retired a couple of years ago we treated ourselves to a camping and Caravanning Club escorted tour of Morocco and whilst we enjoyed the trip and made several long lasting friends, with hindsight we would not have paid the premium charged by the Club but would instead have booked direct with the company which led the tour on behalf of the club: Desert Detours.

We extended our trip by taking three weeks to dive down through France and Spain, and a further three weeks returning through the same countries but by a different route. Even as new motorhomers, you will find France and Spain a doddle and far more motorhome friendy than the UK.

Have a great time, wherever you go!::bigsmile:
