Has anyone any experience of either Waeco or Webasto roof mounted evaporation coolers as sold by Towtal, can't find much information on the web. Appreciate there not a/c just looking for cooling down a bit at night.

I'm sitting in the draft from a domestic one right now. Had it years and all I can say is just a bit better than nothing. They do pump a lot of humidity in so counter productive.

In MH I replaced the roof vent with one with a fan, right over the bed. Sort of works when in bed, but too noisy. Not much use at cooling the living area down.

They work ok in hot countries with very low humidity. They don't do so good in Europe and are even worse in the UK.
