How do you book If travelling through the tunnel towing a car? Do you just book as a camper van or do you book camper van plus trailer?

With a trailer I am sure you will have to pay for the MH and the trailer which I think will be the same price for both. Eurotunnel does not charge by length. So if the MH costs £100 the trailer will be £100. Please check I hope I am wrong .

Don't need to print, the camera will recognise your Number Plate and spit out a mirror hanging card with your time on. Or screen will give you options if early. They will email a booking ref, but we've never needed it, all automatic.

Get an email usually, as a frequent traveller ticket holder just use credit card we paid with, on arrival at the check in it comes up with my name as recognises registration plate

Yes we have found that the number plate recognition works well but you MUST carry the card you paid with on line, for no other reason than to foil any attempts to use you Number plate by some unscrupulous fellow, cad or bounder.

With Eurotunnel a trailer is the same price whether it's a 2m camping trailer or an 8m caravan so it's quite expensive.

Its just the effects of the "Conde Noble Vinho Tinto " have kicked in early,this usualy happens after the third 1Ltr carton...... Just had a count up....... 4 empties...ooops.

As others have said, they double the charge when you add towing a car/trailer.
As we will be using the tunnel for 4 crossings and taking the car ( house sitting and helping at campsite), I booked a frequent traveller for 10 crossing and shared with my wife so we unhitch the car and go separate, works out at £55 for the Motorhome and £44 for car, leaving 1 Motorhome Aires trip for the end of the year.

£200-00 a crossing (@21miles) seems a tad expensive?. Its only costing me £720 (return) to Spain (Bilbao)
