Eurotunnel French employees are threatening strike action on August Bank Holiday Monday. Ticket sales have been suspended. British staffed trains should still provide a limited service. Ferries are unaffected but busy so book now. Best to use A2/M2 route to Dover as delays at Eurotunnel will result in congestion on M20.

I do hope it does not spread to the Dover ferries in the week or two.

Has anybody ever been caught out by a ferry strike, what do the do about parking?

Eurotunnel advise those with bookings to go to the Eurotunnel terminal as normal and every effort will be made to get them on board. More at the Eurotunnel site http://bit.ly/strikeeuro
