Link works for me.

However:

1.The toll tag still costs more than paying at the toll (annual and monthly fee)
2.I've never had a significant queue at the tolls (though rarely use them)
3.I dimly recall that some tag lanes have height barriers as they are meant for cars.

So not that great an offer. Best thing is to avoid toll roads, saves fuel* and a more interesting route.

(*The toll roads are usually a longer route and most motorhomes are not economical at motorway speeds.)

Can't seem to do anything about this link, however it's about Eurotunnel teaming up with Sanef (French tolls) and offering the Liber-t tag at a reduced price. If you google it you will be able to see the detail.

We have a liber-T tag - it is great. The monthly fee is something like €1.20 for each month that it is used - there hasn't been an annual fee although we gave a €30 deposit. We have sailed through toll booths when others have sat waiting in long queues and the passenger can sleep without having to fiddle about with credit cards or cash which is particularly beneficial on long journeys

Some of the fast track lanes have height barriers but generally speaking but they don't cause us much of an issue - we just use the lorry lane.

What Reallyretired says is true, but the practicalities of it overcome some of the financial issues.
We've used one recently and ad Mattyjwr says the monthly fee is not extortionate. Plus the fee is only paid for a month when the tag is used and payment is deferred until the following month.
The big value for us passing through the tolls. Our Fiat Ducato based MH is always mid way between the high and low levels payment slots H is always having to stretch or contort herself some way to pay, that's after spotting the payment required and scrabbling for the money. This last trip in a Spain whilst offering a 10 a Euro note to the machine a fierce gust of wind blew it from her grasp, never to be seen again.
We don't use tolls all the time but will often pick up a motorway to save going through a town or city. These roads can be busy at certain times and the tag has proved its worth there.
So far then it's been pretty positive, but we'll have to check again in a years time.:winky:

As has been said above.. Some of us are limited by time and enjoy the convenience of using the excellent fast road network. The cost of having a tag is minimal.. Fuel savings travelling to the south are good.. Not having to stop at most tolls is very good and.. We have seen queues and have never queued since we got the tag. Who knows... When we can relax a little and take our time we may choose not to use it.
