Getting back to the topic of Euros and wanting this thread to have a silver lining a large envelope came today stuffed with Euros....hundreds of 'em..........and what did I pay for them.....nothing!

we have Santander zero account, only available to certain customers with a certain other product that many of the retired funsters won't have
This allows us cash out of the cash machine and debit card transactions at the rate of that day without any charge or commission fee.

We use Nationwide Credit Card that has the same deal although you can't use that for cash withdrawal as you incur charges. :thumb:

This is similar to the deal that Nationwide used to offer, I did consider changing but I would need to move my current account over to Santander plus you never know when the deal will finish just like Nationwide.
