We are going to Malta for all of January (as a retirement treat) and are wondering whether to risk changing Pounds to Euros, or will the Maltese prefer Pounds ??
Must be anybody's guess !!
Has anyone any info please ??

I am holding some euros and dollars so....

I decided to day to call my local travel agent who I buy my euros from.. asked him for the buy rate he was offering.. I have about €1500 in the safe and a few hundred $ .. he said the euros had not moved buy /see ratio in the past few weeks despite the news reports..(re euro's) he said the US$ were not good to sell at the moment.. Happy to buy the Euros in..

So do I or do I not? still thinking about it.. do not need any euros until June and no US trips planned at all. Then I do have a few euros on my Euro Caxton FX card as well.
