stuck in traffic in our car when this Euro Mobil Motorhome comes along side us we were both heading South on the A1 between Ferrybridge and Newark. I noticed it was covered in MHFun stickers, so although we were in our car I wound down the window and waved gaily at the peeps aboard. :hiya: Lady with long blonde hair and a guy driving. Big grin and a wave from her...he looked like he thought I was a mad women.

Nevertheless, hi guys. It was me and I was so excited to see a fellow Funster. (y)

It wasn't us! We can't get out and about until the end of June as Joe can't drive until then and I can't drive the MH.

Yes me too I was in Tescos in Dover and parked next an old Hymer , with Fun badges on. Nobody there and it was gone when I got back out. That was the first I have seen apart from rally places.

It was not me either, because I was busy waving at Rex. I just discovered that Rex was in Cornwall. I wonder who I was waving at.

We use that road a lot, but not us as we have not yet sent the SAE for our stickers. Isn't it difficult to not wave when you have been in the Moho for a while then see another Moho when you are in the car!

Maybe if I told you it was an older MH it had a little smiley on the back, a big smiley on the offside side window and two 'number plates' sitting in the front windows saying Motorhome funsters. The reg plate began with a 'W' and it had a small covered ( motorbike/scooter?) on the back. Bit was a 'C' class? So it seems to me, with all that MHFun advertising, they must be keen on the club. (y) ...... So any ideas? Hells bells wish I'd spoken to them now, but we was slowly rolling along!

Ha ha! Hello @Vanman . You were also parked next to @Janine for a couple of days until they left .
Hope you enjoyed our second home - Doubletrees Farm!

We certainly did enjoy our stay there (third site ever)! The view was good, the little village with pub, Chinese and Chippy was really handy and everyone seemed really friendly and helpful. Martin seems like a character :)

First time up on ramps for us though, that was a bit scary ;)

Very handy for Heligan and Eden (y) :)

So frustrating, once went to speak to a motorghomer who had a huge smiley on the front of his van, had never heard of the club, he bought it cause it looked happy and he was happy in his van so thought it appropriate. did try my best to sell him the idea of fun, but think he may have misinterpreted.

Ha we had exactly the same thing at Easter with a UK van in Normandy turns out he was en ex-traffic cop who had been given the smiley face by a child a long time ago and put it on his Police bike and then transferred to their motorhome.

Also the Euramobil wasn't ours.

Curiously enough the other van near us at Doubletrees also had Smiley stickers (Kim & Daphne) and they had never heard of the forum either. Maybe we should change our logo to something less popular - Grim Reaper maybe? ;)
