English Whisky Meet

Many of the participants at the New Romney meet are Whisky enthusiasts and I have a vague memory that whilst sampling various whiskies at Romney I may have volunteered to organise an English Whiskey meet near St Georges Distillery in Norfolk. Well, here it is.

Dates: Arrive Tuesday 18th July 2017, Depart Friday 21 July 2017. These dates are immediately before the Norfolk Motorhome show so this meet can be a stop on route to the Norfolk show.

We did the tour last year and parked at the Angel Great pub good food and a very interesting tour worked out a bit expensive as I needed to buy a few different chapters (bottels) to make sure I did not mis out.
There is a good reptile/pet store next door to the distillery.

The Angel Inn is one of our favourite spots they have 170 whiskeys behind the bar & I have sample all of the oldest & most expensive when its cols they have two open log fires & the bar can get a nit noisey so its best to head into the restraunt/bar for some peace n quiet.
Andrew & his wife are a lovely couple & they have some great bar assistants Chralie being a very nice lass

I will not be attending as my partner will be at school but should she break up early we might be able to get a day in otherwise Iwill see you guys @ Norfolk when we hopefully head up on Thursday if she break ups early.

Ps as you enter the camp field it slopes gently from the right down to the left, EHU on the right with some down the left. over the back is a lovely corner where we park when not on EHU but a tad shady late evening but away from the crowd.

The trees are otherwise known as the roockery.

Enjoy & dont drive to the distillery & have a big bank balance .

If you can book up visit with the master distiller.

I would be interested in attending but want to move on to the Norfolk show on Thursday 20th. Would it be OK to just come for the Tuesday and Wednesday nights, missing the meal on the Thursday? No EHU required.
