    Well long wait is over they arrived today!
    Have booked the shard viewing at 12:00 before heading off of drinks and food before match!

    So what part of the ground are you in and are you going to be wearing fancy dress? I'm one of the poor sods that has to watch ITV coverage :( (at least there'll be no Jonathan Davies (y)) so I might be able to spot you :mad:

    OK, this sounds like it might be a sporting event. Is it the one where they're all dressed in white and bore the pants off everyone for 5 days, or the one where great hulking brutes get away with GBH in front of thousands of people.

    Johnny Wilkinson was saying that opening ceremonies were like celebrating before you had won anything and were best avoided as they messed with your head. Let's just hope the lads enjoy it, but keep their mind on Fiji who are apt to score in the first 3 minutes.

    My finger was hovering over the buy button again last night for Wales v Australia.

    If we beat England they will all be gone, if we lose they will probably be less than the current £175.

    The opening ceremony/game should be a great event for this fortunate enough to be there! Not quite the same, but we're going to watch England vs the Rugby superpower known as Uruguay, we were also considering the Aussie game when they released additional tickets, but the prices were above my mental cut off - over £300 each for the ones we then had access to (will go to pub instead).

    True but how many time can you go to a Word Cup game without traveling to far? After saying that I will only be watching the games on TV, I've always been disappointed watching a live game, yes the atmosphere is great at live games, especially, welsh games but you can't really see the detail of the game. :)
