as some here will know last year my van blew its headgaskets and upon further investigation we found a few other things wrong with the engine.
a friend was going to fix it up but was let down on some yard space and so the wait continued.
anyhow recently i got offered and bought a low milage replacement engine
and phoned around a few rv repairers etc to see if they could do the engine swap.
some, who on there webites carry out major engine rebuilds etc said they "dont have the facilities " and one quoted a price which was a bit steep but when i said ok they said they could,nt do it.Link Removed

i know its not an easy job but i am prepared to pay yet there are no takers.
so theres either a bit of snobbery going on because mines an oldie or maybe the recession has,nt hit the rv business.

ps. if anyone knows of anyone who can carry out an engine change on/in there own premises can you let me know.

ps, possibly wont be on the road this season the way its going but for all you lot who are have a cracking summerLink Removed
