Email notifications (1 Viewer)

Ever since the forum was changed (to a new server / host?) recently I haven't been receiving email notifications. I just went into my settings to see if somehow I had unchecked the box but I haven't. Please can I have my notifications back? I miss replies to threads all the time.

They are working, for me at least, try checking your spam filter, or adding motorhomefun to your mail white list, you could also check the email we hold for you is valid. Hope this helps

Are you saying that if you subscribe to a thread, ask for instant email notifications, you dont get them?

I correct myself, I do.

I just checked my email address here and its an old gmail one that I have set in my gmail settings to auto forward to my current one. Except that the old email was sending them to spam rather than forwarding them.

Obviously gmail is anti people having fun

I just subscribed to a few threads, choosing instant notification and I am getting the emails. I have checked our mail logs and can see no errors so if you are not getting them, its almost certainly a local issue and they are being caught by a spam filter either on your machine or by your mail host. The last time I had a notification was on 14/2.
Notifications from other forums I belong to are coming in.
I have a ghost in my machine.

The problem must be in my set up somewhere as I am subscribed to receive emails.
Just not sure how to fix it.
Maybe when we get back from our 3 week tour starting tomorrow I might be up for the task.

I set my old gmail account to tell it that motorhomefun emails were not spam so it then forwarded it and my new one then sent them to spam

Maybe there is something in the fun email headers that make gmail and the like panic. Maybe something for young grommett to have a look at

have you checked your spam box mags. If you find any fun messages in there just tick them and then tell your email its not spam
