Does anyone know where the Elddis Weight Plate is likely to be on a Sunseeker 25? I am looking at one on a PEUGEOT BOXER 290 LX MWB.
The Peugeot plate under the bonnet gives MPLM as 3000kg (1600 Front 1650 Rear) and the V5 shows no revenue weight. The Seller has a handbook which shows the 400 (same design) as MPLM 3200kg (1600 Front 1650 Rear) and thinks this is the correct weight.
Am concerned (as ever Mrs Colpot says) about the payload.

All the sellers I have come across in the past couple of weeks seem oblivious of the weight they run at in holiday mode but I wonder if anyone on here has a similar Van and can advise of weights. Model is a 2003, 2litre.

since 2007, 25 years tuggin before that.
The plate under the bonnet is almost certainly correct, you are right to worry about payload as I would think it will be very little.
You know the MPM but you need the MIRO & the only way you'll KNOW that is by taking it to a weighbridge.

Thanks - I can only see the one plate and am concerned about the payload, although past experience tells me I can probably uprate it to 3200kg without any suspension mods but probably not more than that.
Will be weighing it at first opportunity, but am hoping someone who has one (or similar (eg Compass Avantgarde 400) may know the real running weights rather than the published payload which I have never found to be correct.

Thanks - We have uprated to 3300kgs through SV Tech. Have had Dunlop Air Assist fitted in order to get the rear axle up to 1750kgs as it was running at 1640kgs with just the two of us in holiday mode and the limit was 1650kgs.
Can now put stuff under the seats and overhead lockers without worrying too much.
Payload is now up to 290kgs when using normally so can get the wine in.
