Hi, I'm looking for some help. I have a 2001 Hymer 754 fitted with an Electrolux AES fridge type C40/110 Model RM5405LM. The fridge works ok on 12v with motor running also works ok on gas. When I am on an electric hook up the fridge works ok for while but then for some reason it tries to switch over to gas. I can hear the igniter clicking and the gas valves operating, it then seems to switch back over to electrics. It occasionally does the same when on gas, starts clicking for no reason then the light turns red. When I press the button it goes through the sequence and continues on gas. Any ideas?

Re fridge problem

I have had the same problem on various sites so I don't think it is a voltage problem. I'm thinking it may be a problem with the thermocouple but I'm not sure if this would cause an intermittent fault. Thanks for your reply.
