Electro Plating (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if the hot air vents on my RV was aluminium or tin?
As I want to get them Brass plated to go with the rest of the fittings
Or maybe they can be bought like that?

Anyone know or know a brass plating company in the UK that does this kinda thing?

The best I can think of, is to put a magnet on it, this will let you know if it is ally or steel,(or at least ferrous or non-ferrous) I assume you know it is not plastic????!!!
Then do a google search for electro platers, maybe yellow pages, I imagine they would need to see it before they can give you a positive answer, it would also need to be stripped of any coating, I would think, best of luck,
