The passenger electric window has stopped working on my Fiat 2.8? I can
hear a noise when pressing switch
Do they have individual fuses? which I doubt!
Or would it be the switch on passenger side?

Thanks Doddy

There's a click noise around the glove compartment area, same if I try from drivers
switch or the passenger switch, drivers side works?

sounds like a relay behind the glovebox.

the box should come out easily enough once you locate the screws.

when you locate the relay simply swap it for the other one (drivers door) and see if the other window stops working.

Had this twice - the window is sticking and tripping the overload.

Do all you can to help the window go down whilst clicking. Mine have seized up twice over the winter and twice freed off eventually. Hand either side and apply pressure. I thought of a rubber sucker but could not find one.

There is a calibration procedure to train the computer what current to use, but I forget what this is.

Tried your tip Brian no joy:cry:
So have took all the screws out to get access behind glove compartment but cant see
any relays?
where all the fuses are there are two red ones, but its not them, but what worried
me I noticed two connectors that look like they should be attached, but are not :whatthe:
One has a single orange with a thin black line, the other connector has two wires one red & yellow.
the other is black.
Anyone have a wiring diagram or know what they are for?
Dont want to just connect them in case I cock up

It was not easy last time for me. It freed off after a longish journey.

I've no idea where the "relays" are, the whole windows and doors are controlled by a security computer buried somewhere in the middle of the dash. I thought the relay click came from inside the door. You press the switch, one second, then "click", it's tripped.

What you need to do now is pull the door panel off. Get to the motor and unplug it then feed it direct from the battery -- carefully flashing it -- to jerk it free. This bypasses the current limiter so be VERY careful. I've not had to do this myself.

Or you may be able to jerk it better with the panel off and use the normal button - BUT BE CAREFUL you don't trap your hands.
