Hi All

The electric safety drain valve in my 1997 Pilote Gaxay 25 S will not shut, as a result the water runs straight of of the drain pipe and does not fill the Truma boiler. I understand that the valve needs a low electric supply in order for the valve to close. I was wondering does anyone know if there is a fuse anywhere in the wiring for the vavle. And also is it possible to obtain a manual valve and bypass the electric one.
Regards, Steve

Hi Steve, I pop a clothes peg on mine when I'm mucking about with the batteries just to stop it dumping.

Last weekend at Carmarthen, Ash was fitting a solar panel and I forgot to fit the clothes peg and dumped the lot.

Can't help you with the fuse. I would have thought a manual valve would be dangerous in frosty conditions.......Griff
