We are away in November,i would like to know if i could use a 2000w electric heater as back up,on a EHU.

2000W = roughly 8 amps so depends where you are going and how big the EHU supply is. Some of the ones in Europe can be pretty small.

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
You may get away with it if you run it at lower power, but full power will trip the mains switch and in some campsites that means everyone goes off!!!! A better option is a little 800watts heater as that will be enough in the space of a motorhome, just takes a little longer to warm the whole MH up.

There is no answer - you can get anything from 3A to 16A.

We carry a 5A / 9A switched fan heater, we usually get away with 5A which is adequate in a MH.
