2002 swift sundance electric circuit will trip out after about an hour with the heater on 2000w power level and no other load on the circuit. My question is does this mean there is a problem with the heater or trip switch. The main van trip switch does not trip out.

    Thanks
    Rob

probably a 10 amp hookup supply which will give around 2300watts.

there may be nothing else plugged in but are you sure nothing else is connected......onboard charger, fridge etc ?

these could take you to the limit.

could be a weak/faulty MCB on the post though....try another post.

different cicuit maybe rob, but they all end at the h/u post breaker.

i assume you mean the post breaker is tripping or do you mean the vans socket breaker ?

    just a thought !

on the vans fuse box.......if any of the teminals are loose on the MCB that can cause a false trip.
it wont trip immediately but over time it can.

if its accessible, REMOVE THE HOOKUP CABLE FIRST, then remove the cover on the fuse box and tighten all the breaker teminal screws.
