Hello to all we have just purchased a couple of electric bikes can anyone recommend a good security lock for them whilst on the back of the mh
please?

TBO there isn't one, all you can do is your best.

I have just had my Genny stolen and they made easy work of my secuirty with a set of bolt cutters.

For me it would be one of the heavy motorcycle security chains and a proper security lock

We have nearly that, a couple of Oxford wire loops. About 8mm of "proper job" wire. Usually just one through 2 bikes but one for each bike when pedalling.

I did knock up a little wire security loop that sounds a bleeper inside but I'm not convinced it would do much, useless if we weren't "at home".

Now 3 years old and don't look worth nicking.

It is.

And the same applies to your MH and everything in it. So if they leave with a couple of bikes it's probably a good deal.

All you can do is be sensible. Take some tips from the Security Handbook.

Basically yes, but you can deter and stop if you invest in a 'proper' bike chain, but they don't come cheap .. anything under £50 is a waste of money .. expect to pay over £100 for a decent one

Are the batteries not removeable. The incentive to steal them may be reduced if the batteries were store in the van.
