hello campers
Ok question,
I've got one of those project 2000 electric beds , it works fine but my wife who's not in the best of health cannot access it easily re the bed needs to come down another 150 mm ie I need to reset bottom limit .
The manual is full of info but adjusting says ( take to a specialist) mm ! Dealer is 200 miles away so not doing that , I don't want to try to adjust in case it all goes west,
I seem to remember and there is a ( secret button )between the up/down buttons on the bed panel but that's as far as I remember
Any one had thi prob ?

No we haven't got one - BUT - would it not be easier to just ring the dealer (or mfr) and ask?

A Woosh bang
see here.. http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/chausson-electric-bed-help-on-site.95560/

Hi Spidey - don't think this will help much but found general Chausson 2014 manual http://www.chausson-camping-cars.fr/wp-content/uploads/MANUEL-Chausson-2014-Anglais.pdf & on page 52
"1) Intermediate:
- Bed lowered in two stages halfway «automatically» simply
by pressing the control button. In this intermediate position
it is of course possible to reach the bed via a ladder as well
as in the lower position using the dining table.
2) Low:
The low position can be accessed from the intermediate
position by:
- Keeping your finger on the control button until the
travel end stop. This position enables access to the bed
without a ladder, but it is no longer possible to use the
dinette area for another bed. The return to day-time
position (bed in the roof) takes place in 3 phases, the
first two being automatic simply by pressing the control
button and the final one, until the engine stops, by
pressing constantly on the control button. This is contrary
to the maneuver for descending the bed.
NB : Maximum allowed mass on the moveable bed
is: electrically controlled central bed = 140cm:
230 kg and manually controlled central bed = 120cm:
150 kg. A lever to activate the system in case of total
electrical failure is supplied with the bed."
Would suggest Highbridge Caravans ( Chausson Dealer ) 01278782725 but may be who you are awaiting callback from?

Yes ta but want to adjust bottom limit down a couple inches and standard button presses will not do what I want
It's probably to do with the button between the up and down buttons ie key off turn key on while holding reset turn power key back on , it's the little things they don't want us to play with but it can't be rocket science
Regards

Raise the bed to its maximum height to confirm this the up and down arrows will flash if it activates the stop switch.
Press and hold the the hidden button between the up and down buttons and the up switch for about 7 seconds the spanner led will light.
Lower the bed to the first required stop height and press the hidden button and the down button the up and down arrows will flash to confirm.
You can record 2 more heights and then the controller automatically comes out of programming mode.

Sooo thank you !!!! I've looked everywhere for info on this bed setting thing
Will try your remedy
Now thinking if I inadvertently programmed in a stop point and wished to cancel it that's maybe another bag of worms
Thank you
