Hi all,
I have a 1992 Laika A class (built on a talbot 1500 express) and lost power in the Habitation side.
I traced it to a wire from the battery to a plastic box where the wire is bolted at each end of a thin flat metal strip 40mm long, this was broken and wonder where I can get a replacement element. The black box with the flip top has the logo "MTA" Italian I think. I noticed that there is another similar one nearby.Could I replace the complet unit with a uk type as I know that Laika stuff in hard to get hold of.thank for reading.
Rod.

if you go to an auto electrical shop you should have no probs. sounds like a 50amp fuse like on a golf diesel etc.very common .

Good luck.

I suggest you try to track the cause.
And buy several fuses, or an overload ciruit breaker that will fit your fuse carrier.

Changing fuse carriers is usually "iffy".
They are rarely part for part replacements.
