Can anyone please advise of an Elecsol stockist in Kent? The closer to Dover the better. Are there any member traders in that area? Sorry Dave Newell, it's just too far to Telford.

I have six of them on my boat, guarantees are good if you buy them from an established retailer and not on line.

    Thanks Eddie,
It's just that I am not at home at present and I don't think 'somewhere in Kent' would work as a delivery address :Rofl1:

Thanks for the info on this but having looked at the issues raised I have decided to go with Elecsol and make sure I register the purchase with them.:Smile:o

I've heard about people using 6 volt before and I can see that 2x6=12 but why is that better than 1x12=12

    Hi Malcolm,

I've recently scrapped 3 x 100 amp Elecsols, which were 7 x years old, and am now on 1 x 220 amp Elecsol. This will be my third lot of Elecsols between the caravan and the MH, and I've not had any problems with them..................says he, whilst touching his wooden forehead.

    Cheers for now,

    Jock.

Unfortunately I now have a large egg on face and in the mire:cry::cry::cry:

We have stopped stocking them. (last time I was there a few months ago they were still on the shelves and no one told me they had decided not to supply them any more)

    A very belated THANK YOU

    THANK YOU JOHNS CROSS

I know this is late but we have been moving about a bit and I have been trying to resist the call of McD's so we have not had t'internet.

Last month I was trying to get fixed up with new batteries. Following information on this thread and by PM I eventually settled on a couple of 135 Banners and ordered them from Johns Cross along with a few odds and ends.

The members of JC's staff who dealt with us (in particular Darren and DRH) were all extremely courteous and helpful. I found the prices very competitive and with the promotional discount I doubt they could have been beaten anywhere.

We are now parked up at Bad Waldsee (Hymer's huge place in the country) while they think up ways to relieve me of my cash.

It is persistently raining and I think Southern Germany is about to sink. We haven't had good weather since we left East Sussex.
