At the time was having problems logging in to aforementioned site and now can't find the post ???

Any help would be appreciated..............I don't think it was a very expensive toy.:winky:

it sounds like you are referring to a polarity tester to check if there is an earth or reverse polarity which is quite common in France.
We carry a short reverse polarity adaptor for when we detect a problem.

Thanks for quick reply............no we have a polarity tester, this was to do with problems either in van or on bollard............ but being a great believer in each man to his own job I know very little about electrics :Eeek:

There are plenty on Amazon or Ebay amongst others.
Towsure also mail order, Halfords may well have them in stock. keep looking.

They are worth having for peace of mind concerning the earth lead at least.

Probably a Volt Stick. I posted a cheap gadget. You just put it near a live wire and it beeps so you can tell if the loss of volts in inside or outside the MH.

Something like this.....
