The C & CC run a THS at Dalkieth for this time of year just off the by pass near a bus stop into town.

Edinburgh at its very best this time of year.

Glad your enjoying it and looking a your photos the weather has been quite good.

not long enough
were the prices more or less 'normal' at Edinburgh?

We have stayed in hotels previously for the fringe (whole of August) and had our trousers taken down price wise, August in Edinburgh they seem to name their prices

is there an easy transport option to the city from the site or can you walk?

There's a bus that runs from the site or a regular service just across the golf course...

Also the slatebarns site at Rosslyn is a better option now that Lothian buses have put the village on a regular route (including a Night Bus). Cheaper and quieter than Mortonhall.

The C&CC temp site at Dalkeith is a great option until the 23rd.
