Never heard of them before your post but look very interesting. In fact I have just emailed asking if they will fit Hattie our Hurricane. :thumb:

Where are they half price please?

    Thanks, Mike

I've had one for two years now, excellent bit of kit, to see how effective they are when you fit one stick your finger over the Venturi and you'll be amazed how much the water pressure drops. You get a good power shower using less waster and less heating for the water, definitely recommended:thumb:

Looks good, but depending on your pump pressure if it will work or not.

But if your shower is not powerful enough, it seems the Ecocamel just won’t work. With an electric-pumped shower at a low-ish 0.75 bar pressure, the Ecocamel just spouted water out of the hole which is designed for sucking air in - making for a miserable shower. Not only was there only a dribble to shower in, the water wasn't aerated either. Ecocamel says that 0.7 bar is the lowest pressure its shower head can cope with.

Knowing a pump's rated pressure doesn't mean you will have that at the shower head.
There are other factors to consider such as the pump's maximum flow output and the diameter and length of your plumbing!

I never read the original post properly, my ecocamel is fitted in my house not motorhome, however having said that it was fitted to an electric shower that as we all know has poor performance pressure wise in the winter and it definitely boosted the pressure on that:thumb:

I bought one of these at half price, but it didn't work very well in my van. It did work producing some aeration, but the reduced water flow made it less satisfactory as a shower.

Yes I have one and its so good I bought another for the house.
It's important that you buy the electric shower version which copes with lower pressure.
No problems myself it is a great product and saves water significantly

We have had one for the last year works fine in the motorhome and it does use less water less than 25% of tank for a shower

We have one in our new Lunar Clubman caravan, it is great in there, bought one for the house and I was disappointed, we do not have a power shower, in house it is srtaight off the tank.

That's strange Daisy, my house one works directly off the combi boiler which works off the mains water pressure, are you sure you don't have any restrictions on your water supply anywhere, if not you need to get in touch with Eco camel because it really is a great bit of kit:thumb:

Yes we have one bought it at the NEC last year, If they are half price I would buy one ,the draw air in which saves on water, so with ours you can get 2 good showers at a time
