Hello all,

I'm new on here but have been on 'facts and outandabout live.

The on-board charger on my EBL99 failed recently. (May 2013).

This was despite there being no thunderstorms around and despite the fact that I have had a so called OVP01 surge protector fitted for over two years now.

The leisure battery was five years old and did drop to 11 volts last March whilst using solely Aires in France and without any 230 V connection.

I have just returned from aandncaravanservices in Mochre near Conwy run by Allan Evans.

He has fitted a refurbished EBL99 to my van and repaired the IT994 control panel for a fraction of the cost quoted elsewhere.

I have no connection with this company, other than to say I am a very satisfied customer.

I can only recommend this knowledgeable gentleman to you, especially if your van has Schaudt electronics on board.

In my opinion, this is well worth a read, http://www.aandncaravanservices.co.uk/schaudt-elektroblock.php

I hope that this is as useful to you as it is to me.

PS Any want to buy a second hand OVP01?

I agree Allan gave me advice on the set up of my solar panels. All free if charge just email or phone. Wholeheartedly support the recommendation.:thumb:
