Eberspacher D4L help needed. does anyone please have circuit diagram. 12v diesel powered blown air heating. It is installed but not working, and previous owner of the beast stated he had not had it working either. At one stage the power light came on and fans wizzed around but since being visited by the mice , nowt. So need to trace all wiring and fuel lines. Suggestions please.

Here you are Roger try this:

EBERSPACHER & WEBASTO HEATER REPAIR & SERVICE MANUALS on eBay, also, Accessories, Boats Watercraft, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 14-Jan-09 16:43:28 GMT)

I personally detest these heaters with a vengeance, they were the single most unreliable pieces of equipment I have ever had fitted to my trucks, every year we would have problems with them after the summer break:Angry::Angry: I had a local private repairer working on them virtually every weekend in early winter. These heaters were both new the previous year and older ones but all were just as bad !! I must admit that the later heaters say from early 90's were a bit more reliable but still not what you would call trouble free. I found them to be noisy and did run the batteries down if say parked for any more than one night!

    Regards Pat

Cheers Pat I have that disk but no circuit diagrams, just parts list.

been there as well Jim the D4L is an old model not listed and no comperable circuit diagrams. The heater itself looks as though it has never been used so maybe not installed properly. Thanks for trying though.
