These kind of scams tend to trap the very stupid or the very greedy.
The whole ad stinks! 'If it looks too good to be true'.........................
A 2001 Rapido for £5800? Really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:ROFLMAO:

But thanks for the warning all the same.

I don't think any of the older members will get caught out with the add but new members who don't realise how much vans bring could well fall for it:Sad:Either way in the past we have a couple of members who know what they are doing and persue the advertisers/ebay and get rid of the add etc, :thumb:thus eliminating the chance that they scam people

Every time I see this scam, and it so obvoius once you have recognised the first one, I e mail the address and tell them I know it is a scam and say I am reporting them to ebay and will let all the people I know it is a scam.

Alone I am sure it has no effect at all but if all the folk on Funsters who recognise it as a scam e mailed them I am sure they would realise how ridiculaous their scam is. After all the secret of a scam is that people don't recognise it as a scam.

Just a thought - an a feeling I ought to do something even if it has little or no effect.
