Well done John and Ruth, we had a great time last year, and the rule we had where newbie's had to supply two cases of beer no longer applies............... Just rang Cottingham Lakes to check in with them for our easter rally.

I have arranged that I will be there from the Thursday evening.

There is eight of us booked in.

Its not too late if anyone else want to book in, but you will have to be sited a little way from us, that might be a good thing There are only a few EHU left, but plenty of non electric ones available.

Hello everyone whose coming to Deal.

If anyone has a Kyham type motordome or day room can you bring it so that we can mesh a couple together to have somewhere to meet.

Otherwise we will be sitting on each others laps, and that might not be a good intiation for the newbies.

We won't be able to arrive until Friday morning as Paul has to work Friday night and then we will need to leave on Sunday as have a family birthday party on Sunday afternoon in St Albans.

Have not been able to get through to site but will let them know as i had originally said we would arrive on Thursday evening.

We will just have to pack all the fun into 2 days instead of 4

Pat - have contacted site to say we will arrive Fri am.
I will just have to prop Paul up with two rods by the lake and he can kip whilst he is fishing.

Bob - Will bring enough booze. Hope its a bit warmer this time after freezing in Mersea Island.

Sue - we just fill up the fridge to the brim with wine and the beer stays in the shower cubicle.

Just spoke to the site, and they have asked us to go onto the hardstanding in front of the grass.

It will be a tight squeeze but we can all fit there, we can still pitch the tents on the grass area.

The weather forecast looks a bit wet, but we are hardened campers.

I am sure we will be okay, but if anyone wants to pull out let me know and I can inform the site.

The suns shining, it's blowing half a gale but who cares?

Got greeted by an Essex blonde bombshell in a fluorescent jacket, our very own Pat

Not sure the vans are lined up exactly but she tried

Had a master class in reversing a trailer from Bob, he got there in the end

This is shaping up to be a great weekend:thumb:

Barbies are coming out at 6pm for a cook off

Just waiting for the rest of the gang to turn up

Well you would have laughed at our attempt to put up the Funsters arms tents in the wind.
It would help if a certain person knew what a door was.

Anyhow it gave us great shelter from the wind and a lovely evening was had by everyone.
Going for a walk to the local farm shop. Were Dane wants to buy us a Rhea egg to try, there has to always be one.

Two more arrivals due today, so I better get my fluorescent jacket on again, its hard work marshalling and keeping people in order malarky.

A big thank you to Pat for organizing the meet, weather coud have been kinder but it diidn't stop us having a great time, The two Khyam's of Neils and Janes joined together made a great pub for the evenings it made all the difference so thank you for them.:thumb:

Thanks all for a great weekend, and Pat and Neal for all the organising!!!
The pub was great and the music quiz hillarious
The company, of course, brill as ever:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Result----
got £1300 off price
full service and belt change
2 large red gas bottles (filled hopefully)
3 months warranty
2 new lesuire batteries
Fiamma grab handle for door
Leg winder and jack pads for stabilisers
and a couple of other bits and pieces.

TC motorhomes really helpful.

Thanks all for the moral support and imparting of knowledge

Just back from another great Easter Weekend with the funsters.

Well done Pat for the Marshalling and arranging the meet.

Thanks to Pat and Neil and Bob and Jane for the Pub buildings. It was lovely and cosy just like a real pub. We even Managed a Pub quiz on Sunday night.

Weather could have been better but the Company as usual was Brilliant.

Hope everyone got home and those that are still there hope the weather stays good for you.

We managed to give the van a good clean inside though Nearly bougth a new van. However one of our number will be picking up their new van purchased today in a few weeks. I'm sure we will hear all about it soon.:thumb:
