Currently in Spain but booked on Tunnel 31st March.
Easter is 25th to 28th.
Also need to get dog to a vet, probably have to be 29th. (Forward planning not a strong point)
Is it safe to assume that as it's primarily a family holiday, those sites that are open s might be very busy but Aires should be OK?

Had one for 5 years many moons ago. Now starting again.
Good Friday in France is an ordinary day of the week. Not an official holiday.;)
I've always found it strange in a Catholic country they only celebrate Easter Sunday and Monday.

Other than the Monday, none of the schools in France start their 'Easter holidays' until the 2nd April. They are staggered across the country until 1st May...

Overnighting tonight on an Aire north of Millau (Campangac). Takes 5 vans, only 2 here.
Left a site at L'Escala on Costa Brava this morning, despite it being Easter there was plenty room.
But yes, it's a bit cold and mizzly here.

In Honfleur (Notmandy), bright today and sunny. Cold winds and cold when the sun went down. I reckon there are over 100 vans here. Managed to get a harbour front spot - early bird gets the best spots
Feels as cold as UK - going home tomorrow

Since 1975 on and off.
We thought we had best spot at Honfleur right by the boats until the wind got up in the night and the cables started rattling on the metal yacht masts. A lesson learnt!,,
