DVD won't eject from Avtex TV (1 Viewer)

Got an Avtex TV for the motorhome a few years back at the NEC Birmingham show, and having trouble ejecting DVDs.

I press eject and it makes all sorts of hopeful noises, but then nothing happens :-(

It has done this before and the people we bought it off (who were very helpful), told me of some remote control key press that would force it to come out. Alas, it was a couple of years back and I can't remember what it was.

Most say, I wouldn't rush out and buy another of the Avtex as for the money it has been a poor investment. Not only do the DVDs get stuck all the time, but when you plug a USB stick in with MP4 files on (and numerous other formats) it won't play them. Maybe you've had more look, if so please do tell me where I am going wrong.

Use a old disc to help it eject put it screen side of hole push in 20 to 30 mil as it gets caught on the way out.

I hate to say this, but I think Avtex TV/ DVD's are absolute crap.

We bought one five years ago and it broke down very quickly, and was exchanged.

The new one broke down about 2 months later.

They probably would have given me another but I just gave up on them.

That said the one in my Autotrail that came fitted has been fine for 4 years.

Great customer service but I wouldn't buy another.

A text DVD is crap only one year warranty even John Lewis give 5 years warranty on an avtex TVs but only 2 on the DVD rest of TVs is good
