We are new to motorhomes!
Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a site that we can stay on, near Dusseldorf, in December?
We are hoping to go for a few days to see friends and visit the Christmas market
Any help appreciated

John

not much choice in area.....

The Messe one: "Not so easy to find the entrance, you can park there and spend the night even if no fair is, part car park is open; quiet during night, starting from 6 h though taking off aircraft; though expensive, € 30 payable by vending machine."

cheaper one looks better for the city...

The one down the side of the Rhine looks good and is close to the old town but no dump or water I think.

but there is bugger all choice from what I can see. The 2nd one near he old town (Altstadt) would be my choice as well, had some great nights out there and walking distance for the Aire

The Alstadt one does sound best. I worked for a company based in Dusseldorf for 10 years so I have had a few nights there avoiding Killerpitch whenever possible!
