We have had a wonderful weekend in a CL site near New Abbey, the kids spent the Saturday knackering themselves at Mabie Farm http://www.mabiefarmpark.co.uk/

Then on Sunday (my birthday::bigsmile:) we headed along the coast road, stopping every so often to admire the view or have a cuppa.

I cannot wait to go there again.:thumb:

Nice area and not too touristy ..
.. like Ken have been many times.. sometimes called the forgotten part of Scotland.. most head straight past in their haste to get to Highlands .. long may they do so .. :winky:

Don't shout too loud - this area of Scotland is often passed which for those of us that love it is great as its not over commercialised.
We started going over 25 years ago camping in either Caravans or Motorhomes, partly as SWMBO comes from D&G and partly cos I was working there and partly cos its a great area to visit.
Previous to camping we went up in the car. All tourists are welcomed
