Any ideas anybody please?
On Esthwaite Water in the Lake District, with mallard, shoveller and coot.
Sorry, but not this time - this is a coot - though there were one or two in the area
Awww perhaps his dad was a cad. . He's cute whatever he is.
A Heinz 57 ..
Never seen a black and and white duck like that before!
The duck version of a feral pigeon, at a guess.
Not related to me though.....
Done a bit of googling - Black Swedish I think??? (escaped domestic)
That's what they all quack.
Think it's probably a cross of tufted duck and some other there are lots of variants.
It is well known that mallards have particularly low moral standards....
You can blame that on Brexit, I'm sure!
@CWH you could be right!
It's an Argentinian Racing Pigeon.
Could be an Oyster Catcher?
It's a racing pidgeon
That was funny.
I'm sure you're right about it's Scandinavian ancestry, more info here: http://domestic-waterfowl.co.uk/swedish.html
Yah! double like
I'm with khizzle on this one, we have loads of variations on the duck theme round here, they come in all colours shapes and sizes, hienz 57.
