Morning All,

I've been reading various threads about problems caused by crappy engine earthing on the Ducato X250 and decided to do a pre-emptive strike and add another one to my 2013 van. We've not had any problems yet in 3 years and 34k miles, but there's always a first time, and I don't want it to be on our trip to Skye at the end of the month!

BUT, I can't find how long it should be! Would something like this do the job? 75cm??

Many thanks.

Thanks Lenny. Ebay looks ok for supply. That link I put in has 50cm ones, so I guess that should be ok.

The earth lead in question is just below the air filter housing.

150mm is long enough
I have a thread on it somewhere about hot starting problems with pictures

Thanks Andy - this was one of the threads that made me think I'd better do something before I got a problem :)
