I`m a newbie
Could be a pub quiz question?? I`m planning to install Grayston spring assisters on my Dethleffs MH .They have confirmed two options for chassis built in 1996 to 2002 and 2002 to 2006 . Given my chassis is 2002 it sits smack in the middle.... any thoughts on how i can determine which is correct option? Max vehicle weight is 3850kg.

many many years! since I was a kid
my advice is go with the extra springs not the rubber version as these have been known to lead to spring failure

mind you i would rather fit airbags given the option

as for determining which version, i would suggest 2002, as the van chassis will have been built by fiat up to a year before conversion by dethleffs

Since 2005
does it have springs ?

Have you looked underneath and checked ?

Could have an Alko chassis which is 'springless'
